Newtex X10 DualMirror® II 11004 Fire-Resistant Aluminized Proximity Suit – Thermal & Heat Protection for Extreme Industrial Environments

The X10 Ultra-Lite Proximity Suit (DualMirror II 11004) is a lightweight, highly flexible industrial protective suit designed to shield against intense radiant heat and extreme thermal exposure. It features the DualMirror II 11004 PreOx aluminized fabric, engineered for excellent heat resistance, durability, and flame-retardant performance in demanding work environments — including foundries, metalworking, furnace operations, and industrial safety applications. The suit is constructed without bulky insulation or lining, allowing superior freedom of movement and comfort for the wearer. Its aluminized surface reflects radiant heat while the PreOx base fibers enhance thermal stability and strength. This offering includes the jacket and pants ensemble, and additional accessories (such as hood, gloves, and boot covers) are available separately.

• This suit can be used in a wide range of industries and applications including foundries, processing facilities, and other environments where workers are exposed to radiant heat.
• DualMirror reflects 95% of radiant heat and withstands radiant temperatures up to 3000°F (1650°C). In addition to providing outstanding protection, Z-Flex/ DualMirror is also the most durable aluminized material available and will not de-laminate under even the most demanding conditions.
• Precautions & Care: Personnel should wear fire resistant garments under the suit, including a long sleeved shirt and full-length pants. Suiting should not be rushed. Time to suit varies but can take several minutes. Suit donning should be integrated into training. You should examine your suit regularly for rips or tears in the fabric or damage to straps. Also, regularly check to ensure that all hardware is functioning properly.
• Storage & Maintenance: Proper storage, cleaning, and inspection will ensure that your X Series Suit is in good condition and ready to provide maximum protection and comfort when needed. Take care to avoid rough handling, folding, or abrasion. Rubbing against rough or sharp edges can be especially damaging to the Z-Flex outer layer. The Outer shell can be wiped down with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT use chlorine bleach, active ingredient cleaning agents, or solvents.
