As an adoptive mom, Kayla Craig scoured the internet for a children's book about adoption that would help foster conversation about her adopted son's identity, skin color, and his birth mother. When her search came up short, she began brainstorming a relatable, heartfelt children's book that compassionately connects with children. Inspired by Joseph (who's six and joined her family via international adoption) and Asher (who's three and joined her family the old-fashioned way!), Kayla wrote "Just Really Joseph" -- a story about adoption, and what just really makes a family.
